Hi, I’m Linda Fordham, the inspiration behind this this Glamping website. One day, I arrived at my brother’s cottage and there were several tents set up. My immediate reaction was “I hope my brother doesn’t think I’m going to sleep on the ground! I told my husband Bill, "if he does, you can just turn the car around. We are going home.” Fortunately for family relations, he did not expect me sleep on the ground! Now, I don’t mind camping but my idea of roughing it is in the parking lot of a hotel that has room service. Well, maybe not that exactly, but you know what I mean. Recently I asked my brother, “Why don’t you set up a website for people like me. One that has lots of ideas, suggestions, and tips on how to make Glamping easy and more fun?” So, being one of his two favorite sisters (he only has two 😉), he said “OK!” This website is the result.
